Frequently asked questions

A stand-alone tracking poll can be in-field within 5 business days of sign-off, with topline results 48 hours after fieldwork closes. For election weeks we run accelerated waves with overnight turnaround, provided the questionnaire has been pre-approved.

Polling produces a probability picture of voter intent at a point in time, not a crystal ball. Properly weighted for likely turnout, representative sample, and late-decider behaviour, results are a strong directional guide. We're transparent about margin of error and about what conditions the model assumes.

We combine probability-based voter panels, voter roll sampling in jurisdictions where that's permitted, and random-digit dialling for landline and mobile. For harder-to-reach segments — young voters, rural voters, low-turnout communities — we layer in face-to-face recruitment. Sample sources are always disclosed in the methodology statement.

Yes. Political research is almost always confidential to the campaign or party that commissioned it. We sign NDAs before project kick-off and manage data with strict access controls. We never share one client's polling results with another, even inside the same election cycle.

We work with whoever commissions the research. Our role is methodological rigour, not partisan alignment. Where we accept a brief we refuse conflicting briefs from direct competitors in the same race for the duration of the campaign.
